Presenters discuss how information professionals can measure, describe, and articulate the value of libraries in today's competitive environment. Featured are presentations by Paula Kaufman, Donald King, Bruce Kingma, Martha Kyrillidou, and Regina Mays.

Serials Article Now Available

The November 2010 issue of Serials: The Journal for the Serials Community features "Measuring Value and Return on Investment of Academic Libraries," an article that expands on a paper presented by Carol Tenopir at the 33rd UKSG Conference in Edinburgh on April 12, 2010.

Value in Libraries: ARL Releases Special Issue of RLI on Assessing Organizational Performance

Washington DC – The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) has released a special edition of Research Library Issues dedicated to the topic of assessing library value based on organizational performance. Several Lib-Value team members, including Martha Kyrillidou (guest editor of the edition), Regina Mays, Carol Tenopir and Paula Kaufman, have written or contributed to the articles and studies highlighted in the ARL publication.
